Converted unto the Lord

"Knowing that the gospel is true is the essence of a testimony. Consistently being true to the gospel is the essence of conversion. We should know the gospel is true and be true to the gospel." —David A. Bednar, "Converted unto the Lord"

HELP!!!! TRYING TO GET THE WORD OUT!!!!

A POST I ADDED ON CRAIGSLIST to help me find my belongings... Please spread the word and pass this along.... I believe my "everyday" bag i carry that has misc items such as catalogs, paper, pens and also has that is very important.... My Wallet that has all my loyalty shopper cards, pictures, My Drivers License (Utah Drivers License) that reads my maiden last name., Pictures etc. It is LOST AND OR STOLEN!!! I live in Mesquite, TX and Work in West Plano, TX - my bag is a Blue/black bag and it has hancockfabrics.com and the picture and graphic is a spool of thread and it has i believe black handles/straps. I just discovered that it was missing today. But, honestly the last time i had it was a couple of days ago (at least on Sunday- maybe even as far as Thursday - Thanksgiving!) My wallet is a Black folder that opens/folds out when you open it and it's "THICK!" due to all the stuff i have inside. If you took it out of my car or i just left it behind somewhere either up in Plano or down here in mesquite, tx please do the right thing and return it to my house or call me (I will give contact info only via email . Not real comfortable yet posting it here. So if you have it, know where it is, have seen it please reply to this post and we can coordinate pick up. ) NO SPAMMERS!!!! • Location: Mesquite, TX

I Love Service...

Last night while at work i had a customer (good samaritan) come through my line. Wanting to purchase a gift card he proceeds to tell me that he had met some people outside who didn't have job's or money and he wanted to buy a gift card for them so they could come inside and buy some stuff. I said and also thought "Oh, that is so very nice of you!" he purchased the gift card and was on his way. He did come back a few minutes later to get a couple of things for himself. That reminded me of the time last Christmas time when my mom was at Walmart buying some grocery items and she went to use her debit card and it was declined and so she was going out to her car and was at her car about to get into her car when behind her was a boy who was behind her with his mom in line and the boy was telling her that she needed to come back because his mom was going to/and paid for her stuff as well.

Service.....

I got the opportunity to serve yesterday (Wednesday). There was a Brother in mine and Bryan's ward down here in Mesquite who passed away. And upon recieving the announcement email for this week the relief society was coordinating the funeral lunch for the family and there guests and relatives and of course they needed help and volunteers to help with the luncheon at the church., and volunteers to help bring and make salads and other items and also needed help heating up Ham(S) that the ward provided. Well since i had to work yesterday i still wanted to do something. So i volunteered and one of the sister's brought over Tuesday night a ham and i needed to have it back to the church yesterday by 3:15 PM so while and before i got ready to work and left i put the ham in and got it done. It smelled so very good. Now i want to get a Ham and make it. Anyhow so on my way to work i dropped the ham off at the church and wished i could have stayed and did more. But, i was so greatful for the opportunity and blessing i was given to be able to help and be of service.

What to Expect when your EXPECTING....

Disclaimer: to my knowledge I'M NOT PREGNANT!!! that being said i want to write about a fun, and cute movie i saw the other night. A movie i rented from redbox. It's called "What to expect when your expecting". it has Jennifer Lopez, and Cameron Diaz in it along with other awesome actors and actresses. Anyhow so this movie is about Jennifer Lopez struggling with fertiity issues and so her and her husband is in the process of adoption., they adopt a baby from Ethiopia. Cameron Diaz is a personal trainer/fitness instructor and such and she is getting ready to film some fitness shows and finds out she's pregnant and expecting and is supposed to be completely done filming before she delivers but, while traveling experiences some preterm labor of sorts and get's put on bedrest and has to stay in Atlanta till she delivers and her boyfriend shows up to take care of her. and Dennis Quaid is in this movie and is married to some 20 or 30 yr old something girl and they get pregnant and are expecting twins while his son and his wife are expecting. And they all are or seem to be well off. It's really fun and sweet. I won't say to much more so you won't know everything that happens. I definately loved this movie and definatley recommend it. IT'S TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Amazing Jakes....

This last Monday my awesome mom in law, brother in law, myself, and nephew shane and my awesome best friend & Sweetheart Bryan went to Amazing Jakes up in Plano - here in Texas... of course. It's kind of like Chuck E Cheese accept it's for all ages. So you all get the idea of what kind of place it is right ? Anyhow we went because it was Shane's fair day. All the schools down here in texas this time of year when the State fair is going on they all have fair day's which when you have your fair day you get the day off of school (the different school districts have their fair day's and they are all on different days). Anyhow we opted to not go to the fair due to the costs, parking, crowds etc. So we went to Amazing Jakes and had pizza, soda's, drinks desserts (it's a all you can eat buffet). And then played. It was so fun!!! Thank You mom for a fun day. Honey, We were sad you couldn't stay and play with us (Bryan had to go back to work- he came over on his lunch hour- he don't work that far from there).

So Lucky and Blessed.....

You know i probably say it alot or to much. But, I have to say that i am one of the luckiest girl around. I have such a wonderful husband who just completely adores, cherishes, and loves me. Who is also very protective of me. He got me a vehicle this last weekend as we have been carpooling to work because we both work in Plano. And typically during the summer's at his job it get's so hot in the warehouse he works in and such that they take 1 1/2 hour lunches. So it has worked out for us., however that is about to come to an end. So my hubby got me a car. I love my set of wheels. I promise pictures coming soon.. It's a 1994 Isuzu Rodeo. It's white!! it needs some fixin up but, it's new to me and to us. I Love my Rodeo. I'm just so lucky to have a wonderful husband and best friend who loves me so much, who looks out for me, who takes care of me and who loves Jesus Christ, his family, my family and life and has so much faith. I wish i had the faith and everything he has.

4th Of July.....

I want to write about the 4th of July... And also it's special meaning to me. I am Greatful for this day - the birthday of our wonderful country. The country that gives us the freedoms we enjoy, the declaration of independence, and a chance to celebrate with friends, family and have a very fun and special day. This day is also special to me personally for a few reasons. the first one being - it's the birthday of my Great Grand father Roy Alva Richhart SR., can't remember his birth year. It also is the 2 Year Baptism anniversary/anniversary of Joining the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints of my wonderful and sweet & dear husband Bryan. Bryan Joined the church and was baptized on July 4, 2010. I can't wait till we can and will go and start our temple preparation classes, the day we get our endowments out, the day he recieves the melchezidek preisthood, and also the day when we kneel across eachother (Across the Altar) in the house of the lord (one of many of our beautiful temples) and become eternal companions and get married and sealed for time and all eternity (our temple wedding). And of course the day of the birth of our first child and all our children. I can't wait to have and go through all these moments and milestones with the Man I Love and to be with him forever and to be with him only (he is the only one i ever want to be with and have children with)., and to continue and experience life with him and recieve and be the recipient of all the blessings of marriage and blessings marriage brings. Happy Fourth of July everyone....

Changes Coming

Time to get down to business.. Since Bryan and I are married now. We are really wanting to start a family., to be able to get pregnant and have children. Which means i want to be and become even more healthy... That being said... I am going to strive and work harder to get in better shape, loose some weight, and slim it down also meaning making better beverage and food choices. I think my main struggle will be backing off and or cutting down on the Soda and carbonation intake. That is the thing i struggle with the most. I find that when i loose weight i am only loosing between 3-5 pounds each week (when i loose) and then it seems like the next week i am gaining it all back and more. So i know i can do it with the love, encouragement and support most importantly from my Husband. And the love, help and encouragement of all of you my friends and family.

Our Wedding.... Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Bryan Walls

Bryan and I got married this last Saturday June 9, 2012. In my parents' ward house. The ward house and ward i grew up in. We will be going to be sealed for time and all eternity in about 1 year or so. Bryan and i met online as a result of a free communication weekend and event on eharmony a year ago memorial day (around there). We started communicating and by the 2nd or 1st email in our free communication weekend or maybe after (as we had to go through the communication getting to know eachother and answering those questions etc.) We both did not want to pay to communicate after the free event. We exchanged email addresses, phone numbers, friended eachother on facebook., by the 2nd email one night i was randomly on the computer talking to him and on youtube listening to country kind of songs and something went off in my head and i had the thought and said "I want to marry him (this guy!) he was going to come up on the 4th of July weekend but, couldn't get off work. He had his vacation scheduled for the first weekend of august for a week. He left Texas on the evening of the 5th of August and arrived the night of the 6th (it's a 24 hour drive - longer because of stopping and resting etc.), we went to church on the 7th of August and had Jared and Lindsay and the girls over for lunch and to meet him. He got to meet Dakota the next day on the 8th as Dakota was at his mother's house. We also just "Hung out!" that day and was at the mall and started looking at rings- tried a few on., and just had fun. I got "Dolled up!" (got my hair done, we went out to eat and all that. He takes very good care of me. I Love him so much! i know he loves me so much. On the 9th we hung out more.... went to the movies at Valley Fair Mall and after he's like "Let's go to the great salt lake!" we went out there and was walking around. walking on the sand and in the water. As we were walking we stopped for a minute. Not thinking anything of it. He then says "I'm fixen to do something... still not clicking in my head and i'm still not thinking anything of it... I was looking at the moon and the pretty sunset." I turn back around and when i did he was on one knee and the following was said "Heidi Gail Richhart will you marry me ?" Of course i said YES!! I got to show him off to meet most of my extended family at our family reunion about 3 days later on that friday and weekend. We have been through so much together. I came home on May 23rd, 2012 ahead of Bryan to be here as a result of my mother being involved in a major and serious car accident on May 15th, 2012. Anyhow i was without Bryan for 2 weeks... The longest 2 weeks of my life. But, he arrived on the 6th - actually the 7th (last thursday) at 2:00 AM - we went to get our marriage license on the 7th & had our couples bridal shower that night, had a dinner for family and close friends we had about 20 people there., and then the wedding and reception on the 9th. We got married at 2:30 PM we are greatful for all the people who came and for their love and support. We had approximately 70 people (if not more) at the ceremony and then we had the reception. We had so much fun and we had tons of people tell us how beautiful it was and how much fun they had. My bridal party and the groomsman were all wonderful. Very close friends. The processional was awesome. I will post pictures taken later but, want to post one of the pictures our photographer took. We were so blessed with this wedding... we had so much help!!! Thanks to my Uncle Paul, Aunt Cindy, my cousin Alyssa and her boyfriend Logan, my brother Jared and his wife, My uncle Larry and Aunt Susan - Aunt Susan who made me my beautiful bouquet and boutineers also the flowers for the bridesmaids., and for help decorating and setting up., My Awesome Friend Dede for making us our wedding cake, my friend Sam for being our DJ, my cousin Jodi for also providing greenery and additional flowers, and friends who helped at the reception and in the kitchen. My wonderful husband for making the dinner the night before., Austyn (my friend Leah's little girl) for being our ring bearer., She did a wonderful job. My niece Kayla for being the flower girl. All the services provided to us as a wedding gift such as the wedding cake, DJ services, Bridal bouquet and boutineers etc. And for everyone who came for their love and support and for all the gifts and generosity. Without you all and your love and support this day would not have been possible.

SMITH'S = BAD PHARMACY EXPERIENCE.... BOO!!!

Here is feedback i submitted on Smith's food and drug's website, their facebook page, and will be on twitter via this link from this post... SHAME ON SMITHS FOOD AND DRUG... HERE'S WHY.... HERE IS A POST AND FEEDBACK I POSTED ON THERE WEBPAGE... I have to say my family and i are really disappointed in a experience we had with your pharmacy tonight at the store located at 8055 W 3500 South in Magna, Utah - My mother is just recovering from a major car accident and has spent the last 3 weeks in the hospital and a rehab and care center recovering. Just getting home today. She had one of her prescriptions called in by her doctor at like 2:00 PM today. And it took the staff a WHOPPING 7 HOURS to fill and process a damn prescription.... Are you kidding me? do you know how many places or how many things i can get done in 7 hours? and the sorry excuses they offered are as follows: "Oh, since you did not immediately come in after the prescription was called in and since the prescription was called in. We just tossed it aside and just didn't fill it because we didn't know when you would be here." Are you serious? did you just say that? We have done business with Smiths for 20 years + and alot of or most of the time we have had precriptions called in and have never heard of this reason and excuse or experienced this. That is the most ridiculous, pathetic and lame excuse i have ever heard. Sounds like just something that was said to cover their "behinds". and we just focused on walk in's. Pardon my french but really ? What the hell? who does business and conducts and represents themselves and a company like that and who deals and treats people like that? Like previously stated we have many many many times had prescriptions called in over the phone and never had this happen. What gives? is this what your customer base deserves and can expect? things not to be done in a timely manner? to wait and have their prescriptions take 7 hours to fill. I can work a shift in that time? Smiths needs to make this right and implement things to ensure things like this never happens again. And in the case of being short handed because that is what they said to., you know what? get on the phone and call other employees in to help. I will encourage others and myself to take my business to Harmons, Walgreens, or walmart or another retailer if this is how i will get treated. I as a customer expect better than this and some resolution. Very very very bad business.

Wedding Announcement from our ward's relief society....

Here is a Awesome announcement from my Ward's Relief Society- our weekly email we get.. Dallas 5th Ward Rocks!!! here it is.... "Hi Sisters! I forgot to mention one announcement! Congratulations to Sister Heidi Richhart & Brother Brian Walls, who will be getting married this Saturday 6/9 (in Utah I believe). Dallas 5th Ward Relief Society Presidency "

Another Update on mom

I Just wanted to post another update on MOM... I talked to mom awhile ago and she is about fair - she is just stressing and worried about how things will get done when she get's out of the hospital and for the wedding, worried she will ruin my wedding because of this accident., And just going through some mental stuff... like she worries she won't be able to walk again... worried about costs of medical bills etc. I think she would ask for help but, is afraid to and don't want to come off as needy or stuff.. Will talk to her again in a little while and will keep the updates coming...

UPDATE ON MOM...

Just talked to mom... My brother Jared went by today after work - MY Dad is with her now... and still do not know what the xrays said but, they got her up for the first time since yesterday. She was sitting in a chair for awhile.... She might go home tomorrow but, probably likely Friday-- will let you all know... She will be on alot of medication and in pain and will not be able to do a whole lot-- so continued support, calls, prayers, cards, HELP!!! or anything (if you would like) and visits are and will be appreciated. Will keep updates coming....

MOM WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT....

Here is what i posted on my blog yesterday late afternoon. "For those of you who do not know... My mother was involved in a car accident at 1:30 PM this afternoon... on 4100 South and 5900 West - where Up&L used to be. She hit a Telephone pole, her leg is broken above her knee and she is in the Hospital out in Murray, Utah on state street I-MED (i guess they changed the name from I-MED) but, it's the one on State Street at about 5300 South. She will be having surgery within a couple of hours... They are putting a ROD in her leg and all that. Will have crutches and be imobile for several weeks at least. The car is most most likely TOTALLED... My dad is with her. Please keep her and my dad in your prayers and our family. They would appreciate and we all would appreciate your love, thoughts, support and prayers... Sure she would love your support, and to see you all etc. She should be okay for the wedding... keeping my fingers crossed!!! " She had to have surgery and that took place last night around 8 P.M. and the surgery was about 1 1/2 hours long. She was in recovery for a short time. When i talked to her this morning around 8:30 - 9:00 A.M. they were getting ready to take her to X-RAY for more X-RAY'S.. I was asking her questions about the accident and such. She was telling me that when the paramedics were taking her out of the car there was alot of "moaning and groaning" and "some screaming" because of the pain. The paramedics was the one's who notified my dad who then notified Jared and Lindsay, and then called me. She was on her way over to Jared and Lindsay's house. She called and Left lindsay a voicemail at about 1:19 PM saying she was on her way. Lindsay talked to my mom at 1:22 P.M. - Just a side note: Lindsay told me that it was 2:10 PM and mom hadn't arrived at the house yet. Her first thought and fear was that she had been in a accident. That fear of course was confirmed and realized. Anyhow as she was driving she was on 4100 South and 5900 W. in West Valley City, Utah when she lost control and hit a telephone pole., The windsheild was shattered and broken glass on the road and the car. But, it didn't hit or cut her (the glass), her airbags deployed. It was a front end crash. So were pretty sure the car is totalled. My dad has not seen the car yet. He will do that today after he get's off work and on his way to the hospital. So i do not have pictures yet. Ghost Rider 2

So yesterday my Honey Bryan and I and our nephew Shane (He's 13!) anyway went to see the new Ghost rider. It has Nicholas Cage in it. It was an alright movie. But, we had fun anyway. The theatre is the "dollar movies" theatre. Actually if you go before 6 PM then tickets are only $1.25 and then after 6 PM they are $1.75. Really good prices. So for our three tickets it only cost $3.75 wahoo!! so then we get in there and i think we were only intending on getting one LARGE popcorn. Well Bryan decides to get a #2 movie meal which for $10 included a Large drink and a Medium popcorn. So we go to order that and the concessions crew did a real good upsell. She indicated that for only $1 more we could upgrade to having a Large Drink, Large Popcorn and a free candy and Free refill(S) on the drink and popcorn. We did that and it was so worth it. We actually brought popcorn and our drink home. As when i went to refill the drink and popcorn. Little did i know that the time i went to do that there was only 5 minutes left in the movie. HA ! HA ! anyhow it was fun. I think the next movie i want to go with- with Bryan is to see "THE VOW!" They also got beauty and the beast in 3D playing there. Oh how i love that movie. If you live in the mesquite, forney, and surrounding areas you got to visit Forney stadium 12 in Forney and or the Mesquite Cinema 10 in Mesquite off of US 80 by the sonic drive in. Did i forget to tell you there seats recline a little bit and they have $1 hot dogs ?

Valentines Date....

So Bryan & I couldn't go out on Valentines as it was a couple of days before Payday,

After work last night & after we went and made the car payment. We were diving around in Richardson & into Allen. I said "Where are we going Honey ?" to which he said "I don't know!" ha ha ha !! he's so funny.. I Just love him and he says that usually to be "funny", or "When he has something up his sleeve" and or a "Suprise!"

So we are driving along around in Allen. And we go to this shopping center right?
And i saw a Italian resturaunt. But, i didn't think nothing of it i thought we were goig to one of the other stores or something. So we park and he's like "C'mon let's go!"

So were walking through the parking lot & we walk into this nice Italian resturaunt.

The food was delicious., Te resturaunt staff was quick, accurate, swift. And very polite.

Bryan is so very good to me. Sometimes he feels bad because he feels he don't do enough for me and such. I Know he wants to and he does what he can. And it's fine.

I really am th lucky one to have someone who loves, adores, cherish's me and is so very good to me like Bryan is.

I Love him so much!!!

And that journey would take us to the day you would drive from Texas to Utah and we would meet, continue to fall in love, and get engaged. And start another Journey to prepare for our Family (future family) and prepare for our marriage. You are my best friend, love of my life, and soulmate. And you are my everything and Side-Kick. Thank You for the person you are., The blessing you are in my life., And the way you love me.
Also for always being there for me. & for your faith & strength. I wish i could have the faith you have.

DAD- Prayers Needed

I had a conversation this morning with my MOM. We try to talk every day. Just to "Touch Base". Anyhow this morning when she called I'm like "Hey, what's going on?" her reply was "Nothing Good!" so i ask why. She proceeds to tell me that My dad Lost his Job and Permanent Spot and position doing security at Wells Fargo. There were supposed complaints about the speed in which he was doing his work and that he wasn't fast enough or something. Well he is only one person and we all individually can only do so much because as 1 person you can't be every where at once, do more than one thing at a time etc. - Well they thought he should have been able to do so. The Guy he worked with along side working together was out on Patrol. So that reduces man power. So anyhow he basically is unemployed because he is only is having to go day to day again. So there are days he can get shifts and then it could be who knows how long till he gets another shift. Just because of spots at the other job sites within his company being filled. I am not bitter or nothing towards his EMPLOYER G4S Security. It wasn't and isn't them. It's the Job site he was working at that i do not feel good about now. If that makes sense. I do not know what they are going to do.

I am asking for you all to keep them (my mom and dad) in your thoughts and prayers etc. I know they will be appreciated and are greatly needed.

WE GOT A "NEW" CAR... Well NEW TO US...

Yes the day has come where we had the need to get a "NEW" Car. Well it's "NEW" to us. The vehicle bryan had been using. His mom's 1988 Dodge Dynasty. Finally died and went to car heaven. The steering column completely gone., Brakes going out and it is unsafe to drive. Anyhow we got a referral from some friends of ours who recently got a sweeet blue ford expedition just before christmas. Because there vehicle "Went south". It's from a Independent- small dealer. They depending on the car only require $300 down and you can pay weekly or bi-weekly. Bryan went looking and he picked out a Black 1993 Honda Accord EX. It's a standard. We love the car., He loves the car. Went after work. Well he got off early and we went down and got the car. I will try to get pictures taken. But, we love it. has some kinks but, nothing major. We are getting them worked out.

FORKLIFT CERTIFIED....

I Just have to & want to write and express my gratitude to my Father in Heaven for the blessing Bryan & I recieved of Bryan being able to be blessed and get Forklift Certified.

My Sweetheart the day before yesterday got & went through the training & certification process at work. And HE DID IT!!! He did well and is now Forklift Certified. His Certification is good for 3 years & he now can make up to $14.00 per hour in any other job in the current field and industry he presently works in. Hope that made sense.

WAY TO GO SWEETHEART!!! I'm Proud of You! And I LOVE YOU!

Children.... A Precious Gift from GOD...

While watching local news they were reporting how a Panel of three justices ruled that a proposed law where it requires a person looking to terminate a pregnancy willingly to require them to get a sonogram/ultrasound before any termination of pregnancy took place.

What i do not understand is Why would anyone willingly or any form or circumstances want to terminate or end a unborn childs life and take away there chance & opportunity of life?

That seems so sad to me.. Children are a Precious gift from god and it's a privilege to be able to concieve a child, and be pregnant, carry a child & pregnancy and be able to give birth and to raise a child. Why would anyone do that? I Just do not understand. There are so so so many people who would give anything to have a child but, can't. So for people to just terminate a pregnancy and all cuz they do not want to raise a child or want the responsibility is sad to me and WRONG!!

If you do not want a child and are pregnant how about ADOPTION?

Chicken Parmessan & Spaghetti

Last night i made dinner for everyone here at home. However i think maybe i should have waited till at least tonight or maybe tomorrow night for Sunday dinner because The only ones who were at home last night was myself and Bryan's brother Greg. Bryan's mom had to work and Bryan was working and after work he went to visit some friends. oops!! but, that's okay in any case I believe the Chicken Parmessan & Spaghetti i made i believe turned out real well.
I also had s ready made salad mix so there are leftovers.

I found the recipie i used when i got some coupons in the mail and sometimes there are some recipies enclosed.

I had never made Chicken Parmessan before. I was so proud of myself.

Power of Hope

I got this emailed to me via the life script website.

The Power of Hope

As a writer, teacher, therapist, life strategist and an overall observer of the world around me, I’ve found one universal truth: One of the clearest indicators of future success and one of the strongest influences on the human spirit is the presence or absence of hope. Hope is motivation's fuel. Without it, there’s no motivation. For those wanting to restructure their lives and reshape their bodies, hope is an extremely powerful and positive force.

The factors that contribute to success and compel people to continue in the face of opposition has always intrigued me. As a matter of fact, this kind of thinking is precisely what drew me to psychology in the first place. I actually remember what could be my first real psychology moment, if you will.

I don’t remember exactly how old I was, but I was very young and had just finished watching the movie “The Wizard of Oz,” which, to this day, remains one of my favorite stories of all time.

After the movie ended, I was brushing my teeth, when a scene from the movie flashed into my mind and literally froze me in my tracks. It was the scene where Toto pulls the curtain aside and reveals the little old man. As you may recall, he’s standing behind a partition pulling levers, pushing buttons and screaming into the microphone, “I am the great and powerful Oz. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.”

At that moment, I wondered if the body that I saw reflecting back at me was really me or if the real me was behind those eyes somewhere, like the little old man in Oz, pulling levers and pushing buttons that brought life and movement to my body. Quite a heady thought for a young boy, but this was an astounding revelation to me and it was truly a defining moment in my life. For it was at that moment that I realized that who I am is not what I see. This event influenced my career path and continues, to this day, to shape my perception of the world around me.

However, as time passed and I began to seriously study human behavior, I began to see how these two aspects of the self are intimately connected. The physical body that you see reflected back at you in the mirror is defined, motivated and shaped by the thinking part of you inside. So, if you follow my analogy, your body and your life are a literal reflection of what levers you pull and what buttons you push.

It’s the thinking part of you (the manager of your behavior) that makes all the decisions. And it’s those decisions that ultimately create the shape of your body and define the quality of your life. Simply put, your lot in life is the direct result of the choices that you make and the actions that you take. Just as that little old man behind the curtain had the ability to take control of Oz, you also have the ability to take control. It’s all about what buttons you push and what levers you pull. But it all begins with hope.

All of this talk about hope was actually triggered by something my late wife shared with me years ago. She told me that she had found what she believed to be the most inspirational message that she had ever read, written by Ellen Stovall of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship:

With communication, comes understanding and clarity;

With understanding, fear diminishes;

In the absence of fear, hope emerges;

And in the presence of hope, anything is possible.

Direct TV= BAD SERVICE= NOT A GOOD IDEA...

Wanted to spread this around and let everyone know what exceptional customer service Direct TV has - NOT!!!!

I posted previously- in the last couple of months about Direct Tv and their poor service and regarding how they treated/treat their customers including my parents. What i am posting is a response to a email from Direct Tv to my dad saying they would love to reactivate and retain them as customer's. Here is my dad's response to them. Just so you know how bad there customer relations are:

"Dear DIRECTV

You want to reactivate my account and service? Who strange I paid you in early November and you cut me off less than 10 day later. I called you and spoke to your representatives and manages and you would not turn the service on for another week and I would have made a substantial payment. I told you due to how offensive you were that I decided to go back to Comcast and send me boxes to return your equipment. You have refused and continue to bill me for equipment that I don't want at this time and want to return to you. So now you can wait on payment as I catch up on other bills including Comcast. Thank you for caring. Oh by the way I am going to have my daughter twitter and Facebook this virally around the internet. Let everyone know how great your customer service and public relations are.
