Family Christmas with Jared and Lindsay and their family...

Today we had a family christmas with Jared and Lindsay and Dakota, Kayla, and Ashlee. Tomorrow Dakota will be going to his mom's to spend part of Christmas day and the weekend. Dakota we love you and will miss you! we hope and pray for your safety and happiness.

It was fun to be able to get together as a family and enjoy and share eachother's time and company. I am greatful for the blessing and miracle and birth of our savior and big brother Jesus Christ. For this holiday season and opportunity we have to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ & to be together as family.

Merry Christmas!!!!

Sub 4 Santa- Giving service to other's...

Today i was invited by my friends in the singles ward in West Valley- to a Sub 4 Santa breakfast, christmas shopping activity. We also wrapped gifts after shopping.

The stake every year does a Sub 4 Santa and this year they raised over $1,500 - WAY TO GO!! so we had a nice breakfast and then went shopping. There were 7 families that we helped which included approximately 32 children. So after breakfast and a couple of spiritual thoughts we were off. Most of us went to Shopko, Walmart, and Kohls. And a few included Toys r us in their adventures.

I am so greatful to be able to give some time and help other's and to "Pay it forward!" and in the process have my testimony of service and the season grow and also to recieve the confirmation that what we are doing is right. I Love the feeling i get when doing service. I think i will try to do it more and work on it as a resolution in 2011!

Merry Christmas everyone- !! Enjoy!!!

Most Wonderful time of the year...

I Just love this time of year. The season in which we celebrate our Savior Jesus Christ and his birth.
other reason's i love this season is because although it's cold!- I love seeing the beautiful white snow, the smells of the season such as the fresh air, pumpkin pie and other goodies filling the air as they are baking. Also christmas when we can focus why we are celebrating the holiday and being with friends and family.

I love that we all can make and exchange goodies for our friends, and neighbor's.

And i love the beautiful christmas lights and music.

Merry Christmas!!

Brad and Karen....

Friday (December 10th, 2010) was a special day in the Jensen family. My cousin Brad got married and sealed for time and all eternity.

Brad married Karen and Karen is such a sweetheart. We all just love her. They were married at approximately 1:40 PM and then we gathered as a family at 5 PM and had a nice family dinner. They had their wedding reception and family dinner, also Ring Ceremony at the Bella Vista reception center in Lindon, Utah.

It's a beautiful place... The dinner was real delicious and it was just wonderful to be together as family and to support Brad and Karen. I am greatful we have a living prophet here on this earth and that we have the promise and are able to go and be married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Lord's house and temple.

Congratulations Brad and Karen. Karen we are so excited to have you apart of the family.

AT LAST....

As i write this blog post i write with excitement. Why you ask? Well let me tell you. I am so excited as i know most residents of Magna (at least us "Magna-ites")are excited to say that Holiday Oil is HERE!! and has opened in Magna. YAY!! Finally!! it's been a long time in coming. They opened yesterday. And you know i did not even realize it. I thought yesterday was just being spent completing the finishing touches. So i missed the first day. I know it's probably lame, cheesy or whatever you want to call it. But, I feel like a "Giddy gal on christmas morning!" I'm so excited i can't contain it. When i found out for sure that they were open. I actually got a "TIP!" from the friendly clerk at the post office next door. So i went to check it out and sure enough he was right.

I must be so cheesy because not only did i go in there and got me a 1 liter of cherry coke. I love cherry coke.. But, i saved the reciept.

Why did i do that you ask ? because that marks the reciept from my very first purchase at the Brand new Holiday Oil in Magna, Utah- I thought tonight Holiday being here in my "books" has brought such excitement and a spark to Magna.

Am i weird ? yes! but, proud of it.

Very first purchase at the New Magna Holiday Oil.... YAY!!!
